Beautiful days are for walking....

Huzzah! I finished my fourth exam for this week yesterday morning. Grad school sometimes drains you! But I was (always is) blessed, in more ways than one. In the afternoon I received a text message from a friend offering tickets to an early screening of Hunger Games (which I will write a lengthy article later on). I finished the entire series last winter break, so I’ve been anticipating the movie premiere for... forever! I could not hold my excitement.

And while I still had to wake up early this day to get to class, the day turned out incredibly lovely. It's one of those days where you stop amongst the busy-ness of life and just soak in it's beauty and splendor instead. We had only one class today so a friend of mine and I walked around a trail with our little doggies. If any of you guys are familiar with the Valero Trail near 1604... it's awesome:

We didn't expect the weather to be as hot as it was... something frozen was the only remedy. And while we were eating frozen yogurt our dogs gathered much attention:
