Huzzah!!!

I am in such a good mood! I've recently taken up another part-time job (I guess part-time plus part-time equals full time?) at a rehab clinic. The hiring experience was quite unique. I found out I have an Stanford-Binet IQ score of 133, which, having never taken it before mind you, puts me into the very superior intelligence scale. As cool as this discovery was, I personally think IQ is outdated and doesn't intend to measure what it's suppose to (validity, anyone?). Actually to be honest, I don't know what literature says about the IQ, all I know is that many of my past psych professors don't talk so highly of it.

Phew, I digress... Additionally I received my first paycheck from my first part-time job, AND I got notified that I will be receiving my scholarship money in July. Hard work pays off, praise God! Soo... while I am trying to be frugal I do have a couple things on my wish list that I desperately wanted to cross off now that I actually have extra money to spend on myself:

1. Sigma Paris Palette - Limited Edition

Ever since I saw Jen's from FrmHeadtoToe.com blog about this product I've been googly eyed. I imagined how many makeup looks I could do with this palette in my dreams. Did I mention it was super cute?? Sigma is online only, and you can get it here. Using the promo code from Jen's website, I got it for $50 - not bad seeing as there's 8 different eye shadow colors (inspired by the city of Paris!), 3 blush colors, and 2 sigma brushes, all packed into such a cute box.

2. New Sperry's!

Okay... so I am a huge fan of Sperry's shoes. I love boat shoes more now that I am away from the coast (I guess a part of me misses the water). What I love about it the most however is its durability. My first pair has lasted me well even though I haven't been the nicest to it. While I love how heels look (and definitely NOT what they do to your body), comfy is always better. And Sperry's give you both trend and comfy. It's so versatile, I can match it with business or casual attire. I bought mine at Journey's, you can also buy it here. Sorry in advance for the horrible lighting.
My third pair. :)
Smooth!
My Sperry's set. <3
And of course, I always have clothes simultaneously crossed off then put back on in the wish list, but that will be saved on another blog later. =)

God bless,

Jacq
