Playing around with my Urban Decay Smoked Palette

What should I call this look?
Wow I'm in full blogging force today! I guess I'm just trying to find every single possible excuse for not doing my motor control assignments... but I promise I'm productive!! Anyhoo one of the reasons why I love living with my sister is because she's like a living mannequin I can put all the makeup I collect on! I have a lot in my makeup collection that I don't use specifically because I just don't wear bold colors very often. I'm a neutral type of girl. Fortunately for me, Kate loves a little bit of drama. And I have to admit the most fun makeup looks to do are the really dramatic ones!! I wanted to use my Urban Decay Smoked Palette for this look. The colors are absolutely amazing in this palette and so pigmented! Step by step is how I created the look:

1. Using my Sigma F50 brush I stippled and buffed into face, Stila Illuminating Liquid Foundation in 40 Watts.
2. Place Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original all over and under lids
3. Using a shadow brush (I used the Sigma E55) from the Smoked Palette pat and swipe in wind shield motion Evidence (be careful and pat first because it tends to have fallout).
4. Using a stiffer brush (I happened to use a concealer brush Sigma F70) take Rockstar from the palette and place on outer V and brush on crease.
5. Blend, blend, blend using a typical blending brush. I used the Sigma E40.
6. Using the F70, line below the eyes. Pat the outer corners with more shadow for a deeper effect in the outer corners.
7. Using Makeup Forever Aqua Liner in 13, line lids and wing out in the corner to elongate eye
8. Using Kinky from the palette brush with another typical shadow brush on brows (we didn't fill in her brows because her bangs are going to hide them).
9. Using Fairydrops Scandal Queen Mascara, apply one coat on top and two coats on bottom lashes.
10. Kate supplied her own false lashes (I'm not into falsies...). They were from Dollywink (Sweet Girly 02).
11. Apply one coat of mascara once more on the top to lashes to mix real lashes with false lashes together.
12. At this point I went back to make sure to put and pat in more color where ever needed and blended and blended some more.
13. Using Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer, conceal under eyes and any pigmentation spots.
14. Using a blush brush swipe Lancome Shimmer Blush in Mocha Havana on apples of your cheeks.
15. Using a dark and sheer lip shade (I used a plum sheer shade from my Sephora palette) apply all over lips for a subtle color.

I love how the colors came out!

With eyes closed.
Some of the products I used. I absolutely LOVE the Urban Decay Smoked Palette!
Up close. Kate's wearing circle lenses to give extra drama.
Good night guys!!
