Sunday Treat

Yes, those are my real prescription glassess lol -_-

Hello guys!

Today I finished my assignments and I finally got up to date with reviewing for all my courses so I thought I'd go over to Nordstrom to buy a few things. I had wanted to purchase the Chanel Hydra Creme because I only have about 2-3 weeks worth of product left with the one I own and I wanted to have another handy when I suddenly finished the jar. I was also planning to buy a lipstick for keepsake but I thought that $30 + for lipsticks was just too much! Not to mention, I honestly hate how lipsticks plump my oversized lips. I appreciate lip stains more so than cream lip products, as I'm also not a fan of lipstick texture. I'm sticking to my Revlon Just Bitten Kissables (love the pigmentation + hydration + price + and the fact that it doesn't make my lips look huge). Anyhoo...

The ladies at the Chanel counter were extremely nice! The sales associate Anna and Annie really helped me in figuring out what was the best for my skin in relation to the Hydra Beauty Line. I was extremely skeptical about the serum because I hate putting more stuff in my face than I already have to, but she was kind enough to give me a nice .3 oz sample size in addition to all these really cool gift samples! I got two samples of Chanel Chance Perfume and also Le Blanc Brightening Facial Cleanser. Annie also gave me the Imitable Intense Mascara, of which I will be trying out tomorrow (mascara is my #1 must have makeup item so I love trying them out). I haven't seen reviews about these products so I will try them out and possibly do a review myself. I also got an Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Eye Pencil in Onyx. When I swatched it, I instantly loved it!!

Gotta love samples...
What I'm looking forward to the most is trying out the serum and seeing if it will make any difference in my skin in conjunction with the creme. The Hydra Beauty Creme has done wonders on my skin, as previously stated, so we shall see. Also I've realized over trial and error that higher end products tend to react way better on my skin and has helped me significantly reduce hormonal breakouts on my face.

Next weekend I'm going to a makeup event at the Chanel Studio and I'm also getting booked into a facial spa treatment with Anna soon. How exciting!! I will definitely blog about that when it happens.

That's all for today! Have a blessed Sunday, ya'll! Please keep my in your prayers as I continuously fight the good fight, that is grad school. All this hard work staying in every day I know is of good cause!
